By accessing and using the Rachel Illustration Studio website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Products and Services

Rachel Illustration Studio offers:

• Digital Downloads: Printable card templates for personal use
• Semi-Customised Designs: Personalised versions of existing designs
• Custom Stationery: Fully bespoke designs created specifically for you
• Printed Products: Physical cards printed and shipped to your address

3. Ordering Process

Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will confirm acceptance of your order via email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability or errors in pricing.

Custom Orders

For custom stationery orders:

• A deposit may be required to begin the design process
• You will receive a digital proof for approval before printing
• Revisions are included as specified in your package
• Final payment is due before printing begins
• Production begins only after written approval of the final design

4. Intellectual Property

Our Designs

All designs, illustrations, and artwork created by Rachel Illustration Studio are protected by copyright. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or sell our designs
• Use our designs for commercial purposes without permission
• Modify or create derivative works from our designs
• Remove any copyright notices or watermarks

Your License

When you purchase a product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the design for its intended personal purpose only (e.g., sending birth announcements to family and friends).

Portfolio Use

We reserve the right to use images of our work (including custom orders) in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer your order to remain private, please let us know before placing your order.

5. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are displayed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated
• Prices do not include shipping unless specified
• We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods displayed at checkout
• Payment must be received in full before digital downloads are released or physical products are shipped
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice

6. Proofs and Approval

For personalised and custom orders:

• Digital proofs will be sent to you for review before printing
• It is your responsibility to carefully check all details (spelling, dates, names, etc.)
• Once you approve the proof, we are not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof
• Colour may vary slightly between digital proofs and printed products due to monitor settings and printing processes

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information for your order
• Ensuring the delivery address is correct and complete
• Reviewing proofs carefully before approval
• Responding to communications in a timely manner
• Ensuring any content you provide does not infringe on third-party rights

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rachel Illustration Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, postal delays, or global pandemics.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
