Hi, I'm Rachel
I'm a stationery designer with a love of bright colours and storytelling. Here's some information about me.
I've always been a massive stationery addict. I have a lifelong fascination for paper goods and printed ephemera.
Writing to pen pals was what I spent most of my pocket money on as a child back in the 1990s! That involved stamps, pens, eye-catching note-paper, envelopes, the lot! I also used to collect stickers, stamps and "fancies" or fancy paper in delicate colours that weren't for writing on... just pretty to look at and treasured! To this day, I still write with a fountain pen and can't walk past a stationery shop without browsing or, even better, purchasing something!
I currently live in the Netherlands. I came here as a master's student.
My style
My style can mostly be seen in my watercolour paintings that are inspired by nature and celebrations. Different eras in history always capture my imagination, too, which gets me super enthusiastic about architectural art - a striking way to emphasise a wedding venue.
Though my style is distinct, it keeps evolving because I am hungry for learning and developing my skills. A good example is this: I set myself the challenge of creating an artwork a day, and posting it online each day for a whole year. So far, I've done that every day in 2026 without fail!
Storytelling - so, tell me about yourself
So, you'd like some custom-made wedding invitations? When I start working with new clients, I get straight into the storytelling.
Custom-made invitations are designed just for you two. Inspiration can come from anywhere - a mood, a style of architecture, an era in history, a country...
If you're a couple who just loves their dog and wants him/her present in some way on their big day, I'd be the first person to suggest a pet portrait as part of the custom artworks! Or perhaps your native town? The hiking trip where you met or got engaged? Those can all be very evocative moments of your lives together that can be made into wedding visuals that can go on to be keepsakes for the rest of your lives together!
Language no problem!
You may be wondering how it works with languages. I'm based in the Netherlands, but I'm a native English speaker, and I also ship around the world!?
The answer is twofold: I conduct business in English, and we don't need to be fluent in each other's language when it comes to invitations.
That's because I urge all my clients to proofread everything they send me, no matter what language it is going to be printed on the invitations. As a professional copywriter and editor for over 12 years, I have a keen eye for typos - but mistakes in uncommon names or street names are easy to miss, so clients must always send every piece of text as they'd like it to be printed, whatever their language!

I can save you time! Planning a wedding potentially involves so many thoughts flying in different directions. Leave the guesswork, design and completion tasks to me - I'll even address the envelopes if needed! Your stationery needs are in good hands!
How It Works
From concept to your mailbox
Tell me about yourself
Fill in the enquiry form on my website, and I'll get in touch. I'll follow up with a more in-depth intake form so that I can gather more ideas from you, which will fuel the creative process. I'll invite you to share about 5-7 images related to your big day.
Let's start creating
We'll have an online consultation to help clarify what we'll ultimately create! I'll draft a proposal soon afterwards. Once you're happy to proceed, then you'll pay a deposit on the final cost, and I'll start creating.
Creativity and a chance to give feedback
I'll carefully design your stationery designs once everything is in order. Design time takes about two months. There will be two opportunities to give feedback, so that I can make adjustments if needed.
Confirm and receive your wedding stationery
Once you agree to the final designs and pay the remaining fee, the invitations are yours! Then I'll assemble them and ship them to you (unless you opt for digital files only).
